Leelanau Township Emergency Services is an Advanced Life Support (ALS) combination department consisting of full time personnel and paid call personnel that respond to fire and EMS emergencies.
Leelanau Township Emergency Services currently has 9 full time personnel which cover 3 shifts of three people on each shift. All shifts have a minimum of one Paramedic on that shift. The duty crew work a 48-96 schedule where each shift is 48 hours followed by 4 days off. The duty crew live at the station for this 48 hour period where they complete daily training activities and chores.
